Tailor Your Resume for This Job
Upload your existing resume and a job description. Redvica recommends changes — you decide which ones to apply.
How resume tailoring works
Upload the resume you already have and paste one job description. Redvica compares them, shows you what's missing and suggests specific edits. You choose which ones to apply.
- 1
Upload your resume
Use a PDF or DOCX. Your existing resume is the starting point, so there's nothing to rebuild.
- 2
Add the job description
Paste the posting you're applying to. The comparison is against this job only.
- 3
Review the recommendations
Each suggestion shows the current text, the proposed text, the reason it helps for this job and a priority. Types include summary rewrites, bullet rewrites, skills reordering and keyword alignment.
- 4
Approve what you want
Nothing changes until you approve it. Keep the edits you like and skip the rest.
- 5
Download your tailored version
For a DOCX, your original design is kept and only approved text changes. A PDF opens as a new resume in the Resume Builder with your changes applied.
Before
Built dashboards for the operations team.
After
Built Power BI dashboards that tracked order-fulfilment KPIs for the operations team.
Sample text. This example is only valid when the original resume already shows Power BI and fulfilment work. Redvica doesn't add skills your resume doesn't support; gaps show up as missing keywords instead.
Who it's for
- People sending the same resume to every job and getting few replies.
- Applicants with a solid resume who want to emphasise different experience for different roles.
- Anyone who wants help finding which posting keywords their resume doesn't yet show, and decides each change themselves.
What it won't do
- It only rewrites text that is already in your resume. It must not invent skills, tools, employers, titles or metrics.
- If a job asks for something your resume doesn't show, it's listed as a missing keyword and not written in as a claim.
- AI can be wrong. Read every change and make sure it's true before you send it.
Your data
Your resume text is processed by OpenAI's API to generate recommendations, and OpenAI's API data policy says API data isn't used to train its models. Tailored resumes are saved to your private account. See the Privacy Policy and how Redvica works.
Frequently asked questions
Does tailoring change my resume automatically?
No. It proposes changes, and only the ones you approve are applied. For a DOCX the changes go to a copy of your original file.
Will it add skills I don't have?
No. Its instructions forbid inventing skills, tools, employers, titles or metrics. Missing requirements are shown as missing keywords.
Which file types work?
PDF and DOCX. A DOCX keeps your exact design; a PDF opens in the Resume Builder with your changes applied.
Do I need an account?
You can look at the tool without one, and you sign in to run it and save your tailored resumes.
Is this the same as the ATS score on the homepage?
No. The homepage checker reviews your resume in general. Tailoring compares it with one specific job. See how our scores work.
